Baby In Action at 30 Weeks
Baby is getting stronger by the day. So strong now that those little fingers are able to wrap around objects and grasp them! During your 32 week ultrasound, you may even see baby grasping his or her foot! A major change happening this week: baby’s bone marrow is now producing red blood cells! This is big new for baby and mama! Grow, baby, GROW!
Baby Size at 30 Weeks
Baby is the size of a zuchinni, weighing in at 2.9 pounds and about 15.7 inches long.Â
Your Body at 30 Weeks
Here are some common symptoms you may be experiencing at 30 weeks:
Hip Pain: The ligaments in your body are loosening in order to prepare for delivery! One more sign that the big day is coming!
Shortness of Breath: Baby may have already dropped but if not, you may still be experiencing trouble taking a deep breath. Not for long though!Â
Braxton Hicks Contractions- As your body prepares for labor and delivery, you may experience Braxton-Hicks contractions more and more. These practice contractions will be felt in your lower abdomen and will come at irregular intervals.Â
