What's Happening at 6 Weeks

Can you believe that your little baby’s face is beginning to form? How sweet is that?! You’ve also probably started to see more signs of pregnancy by now such as frequent urination, heartburn and maybe even some mild headaches. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered on remedies below.

On a high note, you can start counting down the days until you get to see baby on an ultrasound!

Baby In Action at 6 Weeks

The eyes, nose, and jaw are beginning to develop this week, which will eventually become your baby’s sweet little face. Webbed hand and feet buds have also formed and baby might even be wiggling them! Your baby’s heartbeat is now strong, beating at about 110 beats per minutes.

 

Baby Size at 6 Weeks

At 6 weeks your baby is the size of a pea.Your little sweet pea measures in around¾ of an inch.  Baby is now the size of a sweet pea!

 

Your Body at 6 Weeks

Unless you are one of the lucky ones that hasn’t started to experience any pregnancy symptoms then most likely you will be feeling some if not all of the following:

 Heart Burn. This is very common during pregnancy and can last the whole pregnancy.

 Weight Gain or Loss. More details on how much you should be gaining throughout your pregnancy here. 

 Mood Swings. Hormones are being massed produced at this point so you can blame that for this side effect.

 Gas and Bloating: Eating foods high in fiber can help.

6 Week To-Do-List

– If you haven’t already, you may want to start planning bump pictues if you plan to take them. We love the the “Baby Art” app for adding fun details to your photo!
