Baby In Action at 22 Weeks
Baby’s eyes and ears are getting more developed with each week. While the eyes are still sealed shut, they can detect changes in light. You could even do the flashlight test: shine a flashlight onto your belly and see if you feel baby react with movement.
Baby can hear your voice and heart beat as well.
Baby Size at 22 Weeks
At 22 weeks, the average baby weighs 15.2 ounces and is about 10.2-11 inches long. Baby is the size of a spaghetti squash.
Your Body at 22 Weeks
In addition to stretch marks, you may notice that you are rockin’ an “outie” belly button now. Also, baby is growing to the point where he or she may be pressing on your lungs, making it hard to catch your breath.
Have you started to notice changes in your hair? All of those hormones in your body are making your locks longer, shinier and thicker too.
