Dimpl Toy for Baby's First Christmas

We were recently gifted a Dimpl from Fat Brain Toy Co. for Nora’s first birthday and it was an instant hit. It is the perfect portable sensory activity. The silicon pops in and out but is flexible enough for baby to pinch it and even chew on it (it’s food grade silicone so totally safe for them to do!). You can check out the Dimple and more toys from Fat Brain Toy Co, which all are equally as cool as this one, here on Amazon.

Radio Flyer Wagon Push Toy

Radio Flyer Walker Wagon. Believe it or not, baby is going to be walking in the near future! A fun toy to help them keep their balance in those first stages is a great idea. I love the Radio Flyer wagon because it also doubles as toy storage. Our little ones love moving their toys from room to room, unpacking them, then packing them up again and on to the next spot! Books for baby's first Chistmas

Books, Books and More Books! It is NEVER too early to start reading to baby. According to Dr. Allie Tinktin, an occupational therapist, reading to your baby is one of the top 6 ways to encourage brain development in the first 3 months of life. And it doesn’t stop being beneficial then! If baby is 0-3 months, she recommends black and white books, like this one for baby, as well as books that have mirrors. As baby gets older, touch-and-feel books are great to help them develop their senses. And of course, educational books, like the ones above, that help them learn their colors, shapes and numbers are always a wonderful choice. The Pello Pillow, Floor pillow that grows with your baby from infancy to toddler and beyond

I recently discovered Pello Pillows at The ABC Kid’s show in Las Vegas and instantly fell in love with them. Unlike the other pillows you see on the market intended for baby, this one grows with your child. It starts as an infant lounger, then becomes a tummy time essential. As baby continues to grow, it becomes a place to sit and play and even lounge out. Kids as old as 4 or 5 are still loving their Pello which is why this is definitely on our Christmas list for the girls this year! The Pello comes in a ton of color options and is available on Amazon, at Nordstrom, and the Pello Website.
