how-much-should

If you are a breast feeding mama, it can be difficult to tell exactly how much your baby is eating in terms of ounces. I remember the first date night after Jay and I had Emmy, I went to make her a bottle for her Mimi to give her and had NO idea how much to put in there? I wanted to be sure she had enough…yet I didn’t want to waste any preciously pumped milk. Here’s a quick guide to help you prep those baby bottles! My pediatricians nurse told me to always follow the rule that if a Emmy finished the entire bottle 3 times in a row to go up .5 ounces. Keep in mind that your baby will go through the occasional growth spurt and need more! No two babies are alike so be flexible and watch for ques from your baby. Their communication to you trumps a feeding chart any day!
