The BEST Lactation Smoothie Recipe

This smoothie is, hands down, the best way to increase your milk supply and to satisfy a sweet tooth.

I had originally published a recipe very similar to this one (here is the original recipe), but the taste of the brewer’s yeast and flax seed were a little too strong. I wanted something sweet to mask the taste and the chocolate and peanut butter did the trick!

To make this smoothie, simply add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp flax seed
  • 1-2 tbsp Brewer’s Yeast
  • 1 1/2 cup soy or almond milk
  • 1-2 cups of ice (more ice gives you a thicker smoothie)

Adding this drink to your morning routine while also incorporating healthy milk supply habits is a sure fire way to keep your supply up!
