I recently had the honor of attending the ABC Kids Convention in las Vegas with my Husband. This is the largest convention when it comes to all things baby and kids. From maternity wear to newborn essentials, strollers, car seats, swaddles, toys of all kind…they have it ALL at ABC!
My husband and I spent two days making our way through all of the awesome products on display. Here are some of our favorite finds. Keep in mind that some of these may be on the market, but most are not yet available. Luckily, you won’t have to wait TOO long for them. Most will be available in early 2019!
As a formula feeding mama, I can attest to how messy it can be and how difficult it can be to mix formula when out and about with baby. Pop Yum is a wonderful solution to all of those issues. Formula stores in the top of the bottle and with one squeeze, it releases into the bottom of the bottle where the water is stored, and it’s ready to mix. You can see a video of the bottle in action on my Instagram Stories under the “ABC Show” highlight. Check out Pop Yum’s website for more info on this product.
Wash it Later
Wash it later is a solution for baby blow outs that we have all needed at some point in the past. In the past, when baby made a mess of their clothes, I would toss them into a baggie designed for dirty diapers, and it would sit there for hours, sometimes even overnight if I forgot to toss it in the washer. Most of the time, these set in stains wouldn’t come out and the outfit was tossed. Now we have Wash It Later. The bag has a an all natural, hypoallergenic soaking solution inside to help fight messes. You can find Wash. It. Later on Amazon.
This is a next level breastfeeding cover that also helps with so many other struggles mothers face. The Kooi cover can strap onto your stroller for as a hands-free breastfeeding cover, but it can also double as a cover when changing babies diaper or clothes when you are not able to make it to a private space. The Kooi cover collapses into small enough size that it can easily fit in a diaper bag or under the stroller storage compartment. You can view more about the Kooi cover at KooiCover.com
Unbuckle me was created by a fellow Houstonian, Becca, and her mother. Becca’s mother struggled with unbuckling the car seat buckle when removing the children due to arthritis. This creative little tool reduces the force needed to unbuckle a car seat by more than 50%. While the current version is available online and in many stores (including BuyBuy Baby), there are new fun colors coming in 2019!

Nuna is known for their high-quality products so their release of a baby carrier is bound to excite a lot of moms out there. The Cudl is extremely comfortable (I couldn’t resist trying it on at the show!) for both mom and baby. It’s made with organic jersey knit cotton and mesh fabric. The buckles are all magnetic, which makes getting baby in and out is super easy. The carrier has a small storage pocket on the hip and a removable infant bib to make cleaning up from baby easy. It can be worn in the front with baby facing parent or facing outward and can also be worn on the back. 8 The Plate
8 The Plate is designed to encourage even the pickiest eater to try new, healthier foods. It was designed by a board certified behaviour analyst who knows a thing or two about food refusal. Her solution is to fill each compartment with a variety of foods, both ones that the kiddo loves and ones that are new to them. The first food should be one they LOVE, followed by another favorite, then something new and healthy, and then repeat. The clear cover allows them to see what is coming up and encourages them to continue eating and spinning to get to the final compartment, which should be a treat of some sort that your kiddo will REALLY love! Pretty smart, huh? You can find 8 The Plate on Amazon. Available in grey, pink, and blue.

While at the convention, I had a set path I wanted to stick to in order to hit every single booth. The EZPlay Jungles come in two different color schemes, the natural wood as pictured above and a multi-colored version. It also comes in a variety of sizes and set ups, with the one shown above being the smallest. You can view their other set-ups on their website at EZPlayToys.com
